Hello Friends,

Welcome Sweet Friends. I am k (kris): Christian, wife, mother, teacher, papercrafter, scrapper, country living, gal.

I will be sharing projects, new items in my Etsy shop and YouTube tutorials from my design studio. I am a Christian wife and mother. I am also a student of God’s Word, teacher and creative home administrator. 😉 I love to serve the Lord, study God’s Word/the Bible,  be with my Sweet Husband/children(as well as their spouses) and enjoy lovely cup of hot coffee or cup of hot tea with my Dear Friends.

I also LOVE all varieties of art. As a young girl I began with drawing, designing and then sewing by hand, various doll clothes, needlework, as well as photography and painting. Having owned a spinning, weaving and sewing shop…I truly love working with all kinds of fibers. And I have also LOVED teaching scrapbooking and paper arts for years.

I mostly enjoy creating something special for those amazing people I have been blessed to have in my life. My desire is to bless and serve those the Lord brings my way,

My shop and website is named for my Sweet Dearest Grandmother. She was a huge part of my life and my family’s lives. She inspired creativity!! She saw and beautifully described all lovely and beautiful things. Her creativity with words and items created by her hands blessed so many. She was full of love, encouragement, amazement at each thing we did and encouraged each of us with her joyful whimsy. (She still makes me smile each time I think of her. 🙂 ) She so encouraged my family and myself in a way like no other. She is now in heaven with two of our baby girls which bear her name as well. She and those two little ones are picking flowers, dancing in the beautiful lights of heaven, creating lovely times and praising the Lord together.

As I begin the journey of this blog/website, it is the continued remembrance of my Dear and special Grandmother’s name that continually comes back to me as the name of choice. We also named my previous shop after her. It was a spinning, weaving and sewing stop and online store. I pray I encourage and inspire you not only in your God-given creativity but also to make each day full of design, creativity, whimsy and blessing all those around you.
