Fun Order Finished and Delivered…

Hello Dear Friends,

Here are some fun, fun, fun cards I made for an order I delivered over the holidays!! Super fun to make and fun to deliver. They were all so sweet, it was a “crowd gatherer/real crowd pleaser” delivery, as everyone laughed and giggled and ooed and awwed.

So sweet!!! Talk about making a girl feel appreciated!! 🙂

Happy National Hobby Month!!

Hello Dear Friends,

In case you haven’t heard yet…it is National Hobby Month!! My heart truly LOVES this focus!!!  After all our hard pressed work to make all the wonderful Christmas gifts, this month we get to celebrate the simple art of crafting!!

We began our month with a fun family painting night!! And today I reorganized all my washi on 12 and 14 inch embroidery hoops. I literally filled 5 hoops…and that’s not all of my washi tape, YIKES!! 🙂  My creative juices were flowing as I reorganized by color and design!! FUN!!!

I have many stamped images which need inking that I have on my to do list for this month. As well as tackling new supplies in my stash I have saved up for my slower months. I also ordered my family’s Valentine’s and our Anniversary photo albums today. Though it was online editing…it had it’s own version of creativity and fun!! 🙂 I also have images to frame for gifts and of course cards to make. I have several albums cut and ready to be created for Valentine’s gifts. And finally, I have made my weekly project plans for this new year.

Now with all these wonderful plans, my studio/office needs a quick clean out from all the Christmas fun. Also my files need to be transitioned to the new year in my office. So tomorrow is a wonderful day for order in my studio/office. And then I can hang the beautifully blessed pictures we painted as a family in our home, as well as the fun hoops of washi hoops that will be functional and beautiful to look upon!!:) And get everything back in order so the creative juices can continue to flow!! Then onto my list of fun and exciting projects for this wonderful month of crafting and new year!!

Belated Happy New Year…

Hello Dear Friends,

Happy New Year!

I hope and pray each of you are having lovely new beginnings to our new year!! Ours was filled with family, travel and art!! Our family enjoyed a lovely trip after our Christmas trip to AZ for my husband’s work . We took some fun side trips on the weekend to the beauty of Sedona and Flagstaff. We also enjoyed a painting class we all participated in as a family one of the evenings as well as the Art Walk the Line in Sedona. It was a joy to see even our fellas (who claim they are not artistic) not only love it but agree to attend more classes in the future!! So much fun and so much learned!! I described it as a progression of relaxation, exhilaration, fun, a time of total focus, fear, frightening concern it’s not working out to true joy that we finished very well and on time!!  It was soooo much fun!!!

So like many of you, we come back home to begin a new year with new heart’s desires and goals!! I am working on many plans for this blog, Etsy shop and the YT channel. I will be sharing these in the next weeks as I am “catching up” a bit from our trip and getting things ironed out in the schedule. I am excited about the new opportunities of this next year and look forward to sharing with all of you!! Please feel free to come back and visit. I will be sharing more cards, mixed media projects, new journaling journeys and much planner fun!!
