Today’s Encouragement: “If God is For Us” | Beth Moore

sunset-hands-love-woman.jpgHi Dear Friends,

Praying you all are doing well in this time of our lives.

Who would have imagined…even in January this is where we would be?

I think allot about all those on the front lines. One of our children being told they have to go work…though what they do has nothing to do with Covid 19. It’s about funding for the next year….really?

We have watched so many with great wisdom. And honestly some with…well struggling to do the right thing. In the words of all our health officials….JUST SHELTER IN…until it passes.

I spent the day calling all our drs to move all our prescriptions closer to us and miraculously…they deliver. Each drs office was kind and encouraging….but none of them spoke of the dates being discussed in Washington DC.

What do we do? How do we feel? What comes next?

Beth Moore shares an encouraging message for all of us.

Be safe, stay healthy and keep serving Him well!!!

Love, hugs and prayers,

k ūüôā

Know therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments;

Deuteronomy 7:9 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

Deuteronomy 6:5 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us.

1 John 4:10-12 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the lovingkindness of the Lord.

Psalm 33:5 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

For the Lord is righteous, He loves righteousness; The upright will behold His face.

Psalm 11:7 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

For the Lord loves justice And does not forsake His godly ones; They are preserved forever,

Psalm 37:28 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

For whom the Lord loves He reproves, Even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights.

Proverbs 3:12 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

The way of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, But He loves one who pursues righteousness.

Proverbs 15:9 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

A friend loves at all times,

Proverbs 17:17 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

43¬†‚ÄúYou have heard that it was said, ‚ÄėYou shall love your neighbor¬†and hate your enemy.‚Äô¬†44¬†But I say to you,¬†love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,¬†45¬†so that you may¬†[a]be¬†sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on¬†the¬†evil and¬†the¬†good, and sends rain on¬†the¬†righteous and¬†the¬†unrighteous.¬†46¬†For¬†if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?¬†47¬†If you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing¬†than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?¬†48¬†Therefore¬†[b]you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Matthew 5:43-48 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

“In Your lovingkindness You have led the people whom You have redeemed; In Your strength You have guided them to Your holy habitation.

Exodus 15:13 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

[ Promises of God ] “Then it shall come about, because you listen to these judgments and keep and do them, that the Lord your God will keep with you His covenant and His lovingkindness which He swore to your forefathers.

Deuteronomy 7:12 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

by¬†loving¬†the¬†Lord¬†your God, by obeying His voice, and by holding fast to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days, that you may live in the land which the¬†Lord¬†swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.‚ÄĚ

Deuteronomy 30:20 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

‚ÄúHe¬†is a tower of deliverance to His king, And shows¬†lovingkindness to His anointed, To David and his descendants forever.‚ÄĚ

2 Samuel 22:51 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

[ Solomon’s Prayer ] Then Solomon said, “You have shown great lovingkindness to Your servant David my father, according as he walked before You in truth and righteousness and uprightness of heart toward You; and You have reserved for him this great lovingkindness, that You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

1 Kings 3:6 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting.

1 Chronicles 16:34 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; He who keeps understanding will find good.

Proverbs 19:8 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Amplified Bible (AMP)

A Psalm of David.

138 I will give You thanks with all my heart;
I sing praises to You before the [pagan] gods.
2
I will bow down [in worship] toward Your holy temple
And give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth;
For You have magnified Your word together with Your name.
3
On the day I called, You answered me;
And You made me bold and confident with [renewed] strength in my life.

4
All the kings of the land will give thanks and praise You, O Lord,
When they have heard of the promises of Your mouth [which were fulfilled].
5
Yes, they will sing of the ways of the Lord [joyfully celebrating His wonderful acts],
For great is the glory and majesty of the Lord.
6
Though the Lord is exalted,
He regards the lowly [and invites them into His fellowship];
But the proud and haughty He knows from a distance.

7
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me;
You will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies,
And Your right hand will save me.
8
The Lord will accomplish that which concerns me;
Your [unwavering] lovingkindness, O¬†Lord, endures forever‚ÄĒ
Do not abandon the works of Your own hands.

5 Easy Ways to Encourage a Friend

Hi Sweet Friends,

As a cardmaker…I LOVE this article and I love encouraging others.

I pray each of you are encouraged!!

Hugs and prayers….k ūüôā

Mar 24, 2019 by Jordan W.

In a word of quick text messages and the instant gratification of technology, let’s be a light of inspiration and encouragement to those around us. I love holding onto cards and notes from sweet friends as a tangible reminder of the love and encouragement the people in my life bring me, and it’s also a great reminder to do that same thing for others in my life! Below are five different formats that make it simple and easy to send love and encouragement to your people!

1. Encouragement Postcards

A¬†postcard¬†is one of the easiest ways to quickly send a note of encouragement to a friend or loved one from a distance. These cards already have an encouraging message and beautiful design on the front, so all you have to do is jot down a quick note on the back, put a stamp on it, and send it out! The convenience doesn‚Äôt take away from the sentiment ‚Äď you‚Äôre making that relationship a priority just by putting a simple card in the mail.

2. Scripture Shareables

These compact cards are full of encouraging words straight from the Word of God, and they make it so easy to share God’s Word anytime, anywhere. They’re small enough to carry around in your purse or wallet so you have them whenever you need them. Put one on a coworker’s desk when you know they need some encouragement, leave one with your tip at your favorite coffee shop, or give one to a friend who shared their heart with you and just needs a little extra from God’s Word today. These little cards are small but powerful.

3. Prayers to Share

Similar to the Scripture Shareables, Prayers to Share are an easy format to hand out at a moment’s notice whenever you feel led. Each sheet has a scripture, a prayer, and an inspirational quote on it, so they can be universally inspirational, or more specific to a person’s situation. I keep a stack of them on my desk so I can write a note on the back and share with coworkers whenever I feel led. You can also tuck them inside a greeting card or even leave them on someone’s windshield for a little extra happy in their day.

4. Sticky Prayers

Sticky prayers are a fun way to encourage those around you. They‚Äôre small, customizable sticky notes, so they make it easy to share a prayer or encouraging message anytime. The blank space allows you to write your own message or prayer, and then you can literally stick them anywhere ‚Äď the possibilities are endless!

5. Greeting Cards

Greeting cards are probably my favorite way to encourage friends. I just choose a card that’s made for the appropriate occasion, whether it be Thank You, Happy Birthday, Thinking of You, etc., and then choose a style with a beautiful design and message. I usually add in my own little note on the inside, and then I send it out! It’s simple, thoughtful, and takes no time at all, but the sentiment goes far with my loved ones.

I know how much I love to receive an encouraging note every now and then, so I’ve tried to make a conscious effort to be more intentional in that department. Stock up on your favorite cards or Prayers to Share so that you always have something encouraging on hand to share when the opportunity presents itself!
